Virat Raj, who is the son of yesteryear actor Haranath, is all set to make an acting debut in a film titled 'Sita Manohara Sree Raghava'. A grandson of actor Venkata Subbaraju of 'Bhakta Tukaram' and 'Riksha Raji' fame, Raj is a trained actor.
"We are releasing Raj's look on the occasion of acting guru Satyanand garu's birthday," the makers said.
A wholesome family entertainer, 'Sita Manohara Sree Raghava' is directed by newcomer Durgaa Srivatsasa K. "The title itself gives away the theme of the story. Apart from the family elements, the film is packaged as a mass entertainer," he said.
With music by Ravi Basrur of 'KGF' and 'Salaar' fame, the film's regular shoot will commence sometime in September.
Writer-director Durga Srivatsasa K has roped in a host of well-known actors for different roles, producer Sudhakar T of Vandana Movies said. Kalyan B is its director of photography, while the lyrics are by Ramajogaiah Sastry. Edited by GM Sastry, fights are by Venkat.
