India`s successful cricket captain Vira Kohli - predicted by many to become one of the all time – if not the greatest – greats by the time he hangs up his boots in about a decade`s time or longer, tied the nuptial knot with Bollywood starlet and long time girlfriend Anushka Sharma at a separate family wedding at Milan, Italy.

The couple issued similar texts on their respective Twitter accounts intimating their friends, relatives, fans and well-wishers of their marriage. Whenever she is free from her shooting schedule, Anushka has been spotted at almost all cricketing venues to watch Virat playing. They were rumoured to be in deep love though they never discussed it in public.

A few days back, soon after India drew the third Test in New Delhi against Sri Lanka and won the 3-match series 1-0 (Virat got his marriage gift ahead when he was declared as the Man of the Match` and the Man of the Series`), Virat and Anushka left for an undisclosed` destination along with their respective family members and close friends, triggering rumours that they would get hitched soon.
