The IPL 2019 has reached its business end as there is an all out scramble for the second to fourth places in the points table as current champions Chennai Super Kings have already booked the first place with eight wins from eleven matches.

The bottom-placed Royal Challengers Bangalore were in a tough tussle with Kings XII Punjab on Wednesday when their formidable 204 score in the first innings was under threat as the chasers neared it to get too close for comfort. Ravichandran Ashwin the losing captain hit a six off Umesh Yadav taking the score from 180 to 186 but lost his wicket the very next ball as Virat Kohli caught him at the straight boundary.

The RCB captain then did something in very poor taste as he gestured insultingly to his Team India mate Ashwin giving him a send-off. The usually cool and composed off-spinner then threw his gloves and helmet violently on his way to the dressing room.

Ashwin later talking about the incident stated that just like Virat Kohli he too plays the game hard to make sure his side wins and that's why he lost his cool. Anyways it looks like things are raging hot between the Indian captain and the premier offie.
