The nation-wide strike announced by rich farmers has got the support of the ruling TRS in Telangana. On Tuesday, several roads in Hyderabad were reportedly blocked as part of the bandh by the ruling party's activists.

In one instance, Arikepudi Gandhi, a TRS MLA, was confronted by common people on a busy road. They questioned him about the rationale behind blocking the movement of commuters and vehicles in the name of the bandh. At one point, a man who questioned the MLA was jostled and manhandled by the supporters of the MLA. The video clip is going viral on the Internet.

In another instance, a woman was seen arguing with protestors on a busy road in Kukatpally.

For the looks of it, the bandh seems to be political and farmers are not taking part in it in large numbers in Telangana.
