In the month of August, 'RX 100' actor Kartikeya Gummakonda got engaged to Lohitha Reddy in style. His wedding is scheduled to take place on November 21.

During the pre-release event of 'Raja Vikramarka', the actor won over his fiancee by proposing to her in front of cameras. It was a filmy proposal that was beamed LIVE across the Telugu States to thousands of people. The wedding date was made official for the first time.

Kartikeya, who is a rising actor, gave a glimpse of how his equations with Lohitha Reddy have evolved over the years. He has known her for about 10 years now. She was once a friend, who later became a girlfriend. Kartikeya had to bide his time until he made a name for himself as an actor in Tollywood. After he scored a hit, he approached Lohitha's father and talked about his marriage plans.
