In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, people across the world are being advised to stay at home and avoid physical contact with others by practicing social distancing. Meanwhile, the Kerala Government's effort to keep the liquor stores open with the one-metre protocol is winning the internet. Amidst this chaos, a picture of people queuing outside a liquor shop maintaining the one-meter discipline has been widely circulated on social media.
Well, this is a government decision that the customers must keep a distance of one-metre between one another and that not more than 30 people would be allowed in a queue at any given time, to contain the spread of the coronavirus. The protocol came into effect from Wednesday. The viral picture shows several men strictly following the coronavirus protocol in Kerala in full effect.
While all the malls, schools, colleges and public places are shut in Kerala, liquor outlets are kept open for revenue.
