After Priyanka Chopra became the first Indian to have a lead role in an American TV Show, Vir Das follows suit by becoming first ever Indian with a global Netflix special!

Netflix of late released the first official poster of Vir Das's special. The poster speaks volumes as it mentions the last names of Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Aziz Ansari and David Chappelle - and ends with "Das". The poster indicates that after having done specials with some of biggest in the business of comedy so far, the next in line is Vir Das, who's comedy special will release in April 2017!

This truly is a leap for Indian performing artists as Vir Das becomes the first Indian comedian to have his own Netflix special! While the exact content of his special isn't known currently, the special was shot last year in November in New Delhi and New York.
