After making headlines regarding his violent outrage at 94th Academy Awards, Hollywood star Will Smith was recently spotted in India. It seems like the actor is trying to take his mind off the ongoing controversy around him. For the unversed, Will Smith had slapped comedian Chris Rock at recently held Academy Awards after being offended by one of his jokes.

Comedian Vir Das took Will's visit to India as an opportunity to crack a joke about state of comedians in our country. He wrote on Instagram, "Will Smith in India? Good. He can learn to stop slapping comedians with his hands and start slapping them with legal cases.” This was in reference to several comedians facing legal and police actions for making jokes.

Vir Das is often criticised by a certain group of people, who don't relate with his content. Recently, one of the netizens expressed that Vir also deserves to be slapped just like Chris Rock. He had written, “Someone needs to do a will Smith on this one. He would totally deserve it too.”

To this, Vir Das responded by saying, "You’re welcome to buy a front row ticket and try at my next show. Just know I slap back. Also once you’ve spent that front row money, your wife will probably slap you for ruining her evening. Cheers.”
