Vir Das is the arguably the most talented comedian in the business today. His combination of wits and humor is simply marvellous and unique. Like several other celebs and influencers, Vir is also doing his part in helping people who have suffered from the Covid-19 crisis. He managed to raise 7 lakh rupees charity during the last weekend.

The stand up comedian held an online show which gathered money for the relief funds through ticket sales. He tweeted, "Very happy to announce we raised about 7 lakhs for both our charities, and also made 200 doctors and nurses laugh this weekend. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets. We will make sure the money gets to those who need it. #VirDasAtHome."

Apart from the comedy bit, Vir Das had also tried his hand at acting. He says, "I have to balance both careers. Stand up (comedy) takes time, so when I act that should be an interesting role.” He has worked in Bollywood films such as Delhi Belly, Go Goa Gone, Mastizaade and Badmaash Company.
