Known as the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan is a monumental figure in Bollywood and his fanbase and legacy are so huge that he is often considered as the biggest filmstar in the world. Recently, comedian Vir Das advocated this fact during a podcast with actor Whitney Cummings. “He (SRK) is the biggest star in the world, in terms of everything – fan base, reach, in terms of anything," said Vir.

Giving an idea of SRK's tremendous starpower, Vir said, "Every Sunday he will have 10,000 people waiting outside his house." Then he went on to describe what made Shahrukh so popular among the masses. He said, "Nobody romances a woman the way Shah Rukh Khan romances a woman, is what you will find people saying. Like he just knows how to do love, on camera."

Apart from having raw charisma and acting skills, Shahrukh Khan is also known for his witty sense of humour. Sharing an example of that, Vir Das said, "Our version of the Oscars, I used to write jokes for that. He used to host it. You’d be up in his house, pitching jokes to the guy, and he’d never listen to you. He’d go on and do his version of the joke and it would always be better.”
