Very few know that Vir Das actually started with theatre at a much younger age and later got into films and comedy. The audience got a slice of his recent role in his first ever drama on screen in '31st October', who is usually seen in comic roles. And by the looks of the trailer, in his first ever short film 'Raakh', Vir seems to be playing a rather dark character.

As a matter of fact, director Milap Zaveri who is also a good friend of Vir's, choose him after seeing an old tape of Vir from his theater days. He was very convinced after seeing the tape that Vir can really do Non-comedy role and nail it with much conviction.

After watching the trailer of the short film we are so sure that Vir is definitely is a versatile actor and there is more than just a comedian.
