Vipin Mohan, the ace cinematographer of Malluwood was the one who did a fabulous work for Lal Jose's debut film Oru Maravathoor Kanavu.

After this super hit film he again associated with Lal Jose in his second film Chandranudhikkuna Dhikkil, but was not able to complete the work, as he has to clash with work on another film. Thereafter the career trend of this cinematographer made a U turn as he decided to become a director.

Vipin Mohan did make a good film with Dileep in the lead titled Pattanathil Sundharan but the film did not workout to become a hit. At the same time Lal Jose was moving towards more glory, as he began creating hits after hits with cinematographers like S.Kumar and Rajeev Ravi.

Vipin Mohan, who sought a gap after his first film as director, then went on to become the cinematographer of Aiswarya Rai's film Provoked.

Thereafter he also worked for creation less known ventures like Pakal and Chnagathi Poocha. But now the duo is again coming together in the next film Mulla which has Dileep in the lead. The film which also has Gopika in the female lead is planned to start by the later half of July. It will be an outstanding reunion of the two filmi masters of our times.
