As July gets ready to witness two of the hottest releases of Kollywood - Dhanush starrer Velai Illa Pattathari (VIP) and Karthi starrer Madras – latest buzz is that these films will get a simultaneous release overseas as well.

As per IndiaGlitz reports, USA`s leading distributor, ATMUS Entertainment has acquired the theatrical distribution rights for two movies.

Releasing on 18th July VIP is Dhanush`s 25th film and marks the return of “Kolaveri” combo of Dhunush and composer Anirudh after 3` as well as the actor with comedian Vivek post Padikkathavan` and Uthama Puthiran`. Dhanush is upbeat about this film where he is acting as an educated urban youth who finds it difficult to find a job.

On the other hand, Madras` is directed by Attakathi` fame Ranjith and produced by Studio Green. Starring Karthi and Catherine Teresa in lead, the film shows different style of life in North Madras area. Madras` is tentatively scheduled for a release on July 25th.
