After getting back to hits with his recent movie 'Apoorvaraagam', senior director Sibi Malayil has kicked off the shoot for his latest movie 'Violin' at Cochin. Featuring Asif Ali and Nithya as the lead characters, the movie will tell the life story of three women who are left isolated in islands of music and love. Reena Basheer and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan will appear as the other important lead characters of this movie which will be told in the backdrop of an Anglo- indian township.

Viju Ramachandran will script the movie, produced by Mumbai based A O P L entertainments. Jagathy, Vijayaraghavan, Sreejith Ravi, Abshishek, Raji Menon, Nedumudi Venu, Anil Murali and Vijayaraghavan are also part of the cast of this movie which will be a summer release.
