Pawan Kalyan, who flew to Tirupathi to meet the bereaved family of Vinod Royal, was visibly moved upon witnessing the mother's agony. After paying homage to the departed soul, the actor sat down to console Vinod's parents. As the mother wept inconsolably, Pawan was visibly disheartened.

The mother reportedly made Pawan hear Vinod's last words spoken while in Kolar. The star was moved on listening to this.

Later speaking to the media, the actor said that it was unfortunate that a good person who wanted to serve the society had died. "It's unfortunate that we lost such a good youngster. Vinod ensured that his eyes be donated after death. His mother carried out her son's wish even in such pain", Pawan said.

Pawan further said, "Affection toward ones favourite hero is good. But that should not lead to aggressive attitudes. It's about my fan having been killed. We have lost a good individual who had a bright future. He cracked GRE and was to move to the US".

Speaking about justice to Vinod's family, a firm Pawan said that he demanded that the guilty be punished for sure.

Several fans' associations across the Telugu States have also demanded that the Andhra Pradesh government urge Karnataka to take the issue up on a priority and ensure that the guilty be jailed.
