Vineeth Sreenivasan's upcoming directorial 'Hridayam' starring Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles, is one of the much-hyped movies of 2022. The movie which has already created a huge hype with its scintillating songs and trailer is prepping up to be released in theatres on January 21. However, for the past several days, there have been speculations doing the rounds that the movie's release date has been pushed due to the COVID-19 related regulatory measures. Taking to his social media handle, Pranav Mohanlal confirmed that there was no change in the release date and the musical love story will be hitting the theatres as per the already scheduled date January 21.

Pranav Mohanlal too penned a post on his Instagram account that read, “We want to share with you all that there has been no change to the release date of ‘Hridayam’ which is set to hit the screen on the 21st of January. As long as there is no lockdown, Sunday curfew, or night curfew, the film will release all over Kerala as planned, on the 21st of this month, contrary to the rumors about a change in the release date.”

Produced by Visakh Subramaniam under the banner of Merryland Cinemas, which is returning to film production after a long hiatus of 42 years, Hridayam has music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab for the lyrics penned by Kaithapram, Arun Alat, Bulleh Shah, Guna, and Vineeth. While Viswajith Odukkathil is the DOP, the editing is carried out by Ranjan Abraham.
