Noted personalities of the film industry are coming forward to shower their praises for Pulimurugan directed by Vysakh with Mohanlal in the lead role. The film is running in packed houses wherever it was released. There is mad rush for tickets and many people can be seen going back disappointed without getting tickets.

Recently Vineeth Sreenivasan and director B. Unnikrishnan through their facebook page expressed their views about the movie. Vineeth congragulated Vysakh and team for the phenomenal effort they took to bring out this film. He also terms Mohanlal as a magician and said that he enjoyed an action film this much after a long time.

Director B. Unnikrishnan took to Facebook to write his opinion and appreciation for the film. He appreciates the director Vysakh and script writer Undaykrishnan for the pain and hard work they undertook to materialize it. He also praises the camerawork of Shaji and artwork of Joseph. He is in praise for Peter Hein for the stunt scenes and especially the climax scene. Above all he appreciates Mohanlal for his intense energy and dynamic nature to act in an action movie at the age of fifty six.
