Vindication indeed

It is always nice to see a film run for 100 days. It is decidedly more so when an experimental venture like A Film By Arvind does well.

It is one of the real pieces of good news that a film, which has none of the usual formula that Telugu cinema works on, has been accepted by the public.

It gives to lie to the general theory pushed by certain sections that the audiences accept only mass stories. A Film By Aravind is as good a rebuff as any.

Certainly Shekar Suri, who bravely took up the venture, deserves our unstinting praise.

He certainly got that from some of his peers at a small, stylish function got up to celebrate the 100th day success of A Film By Arvind.

The film crew had arranged for a get-together and the likes of Chandra Sekhar Yeleti, Neelakanta and Indraganti Mohana Krishna, all who like serious cinema, were at hand.

All the three heaped praises in on Suri for his brave attempt.

Also present were Suri, Vijay K (music director), Ramesh Krishna (cameraman) among others.

Hero Rajiv Kanakala was naturally happy. He said all their efforts have been vindicated by the film’s success.

Vindication for many of us, indeed.
