Actress Vindhya on Wednesday underwent an operation at a private hospital in Chennai to reduce her weight.
The young actress made her debut with Sangamam and followed it up with several films. She has appeared in few item numbers too.
The actress, who put on weight in the recent times, chose to undergo surgery Wednesday to reduce her weight.
The operation was reported successful and she would be discharged in a week.
