Mollywood superstar Mohanlal is currently busy with the shoot of his new movie with director B.Unnikrishnan titled Villain. For the past two days, there have been speculations doing the rounds that the award-winning actor Vinayakan will also be playing a pivotal role in the movie. The rumours came out after Vinayakan posted a picture with Mohanlal on his social media page.

Vinayakan had earlier teamed up with Mohanlal in movies such as Chotta Mumbai, Sagar Alias Jacky, and many others. While in the above-mentioned movies, the actor was seen in small roles, it is expected that in the upcoming venture Vinayakan will be essaying a crucial role. While fans believe that Vinayakan has been roped in Villain, an official announcement from the team is awaited!

In the movie, Mohanlal essays the role of Mathew Manjooran, an ex-cop. The movie will also have his flashback portions featuring the actor in a younger look.The stylish crime thriller boasts a star-studded cast with the likes of Manju Warrier, Vishal, Telugu actor Srikanth, Hansika Motwani and Raashi Khanna in pivotal roles.

Produced by Rockline Entertainments, the movie has Pulimurugan fame stunt choreographer Peter Hein choreographing a special stunt sequence for Mohanlal. The team is currently gearing up for the third schedule of the movie. Watch out this space for more updates on the movie!
