‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ stuns BO, nevertheless

‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ was panned by film critics and the majority of social media users when it released on Friday.  Despite the unanimously negative talk, the Ram Charan-Boyapati Srinu movie has reported huge numbers on Day 1.

It’s said that the Guntur figure of Rs 4.20 Cr is the biggest non-‘Baahubali-2’ record.  As for Nellore, its Rs 1.70 Cr figure is also one.  East Godavari and West Godavari district’s Rs 2.05 Cr and Rs 1.83 Cr have impressed the trade pundits.  Krishna has got Rs 1.59 Cr.  After ‘NTR-Kathanayakudu’ failed to rake up best moolah in Ceded on Day 1, ‘VVR’ is said to have done it.  

The film’s Day 2 collections will be keenly watched.  ‘F2’ may sweep the BO this Sankranthi on the strength of its content.
