'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' has put up a not-so-bad show over the first weekend. Released on Friday, it mopped up a distributor share of Rs 40 Cr (worldwide). Of this, about Rs 16.50 Cr has come from two territories: Nizam and Ceded.
The Ram Charan movie has put up a terrible show in the US after 'Rangasthalam' made more than USD 3.5 million (gross) last year.
The Boyapati Srinu directorial was reportedly sold for more than Rs 94 Cr. It has a long, long way to go before it can entertain the fantasy of achieving a break-even.
Not unfazed by the incessant trolling over the 'train scene' in the second half, the makers removed it on Day 2.
