Vimal has become the sought after destination of directors who would like to present light hearted comedies. After Pandiraj, Sargunam and Sundar C, Ezhil has now picked the actor for one such subject.

The 'Thulladha Manamum Thullum' director, who made a comeback with 'Manamkothi Paravai' recently, is ready to start his next, which will have Vimal in the lead.

"It is a hilarious subject once again and Vimal has an interesting role to play. The Kalavani hero is happy to join hands with Ezhil," sources say.

Currently, Vimal is part of movies such as Pandiraj's 'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga' and newcomer Ravi Lalin's 'Sillunu Oru Sandhippu'.
