According to rumour mills, versatile actor Indrajith has been roped in to play a brief role in Mohanlal's upcoming movie 'Villain' directed by B.Unnikrishnan. Rumours broke out after a picture featuring Indrajith, Mohanlal and Vishal surfaced on social media. However, B Unnikrishnan, the director of Villain and Indrajith are yet to confirm the reports.

Currently, the climax of Villain, the first movie to be made using 8K technology, in Indian cinema, is being shot in Vagamon. The major star cast, including Mohanlal, Hansika and Vishal have joined the climax shoot.

Mohanlal essays the role of Mathew Manjooran, an ex-cop, while Manju Warrier appears as his wife. Produced by Rockline Entertainments, the shoot is expected to wrap up by June 24 and is likely to hit the big screens by July 21. Watch out this space for further updates!
