Looks like the speculations surrounding on who would reprise the mean man in Ram Charan's upcoming remake of Thani Oruvan are put to rest, at least for now. According to the grapevine in the industry the antagonist for Charan has been finalised and it's none other than Aravind Swamy himself. After considering a few names including the likes of Nagarjuna Akkineni, R Madhavan and Sudeep, it seems the makers have finally settled in for the original Siddharth Abhimanyu played by Aravind Swamy in the Kollywood blockbuster.

Apparently, the actor was given a token as part of his remuneration as well, says the buzz. However, an official statement is awaited. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film is set to roll from January, 2016. The makers are yet to finalise the leading lady of the film and the names of Ileana D'Cruz, Rakul Preet Singh and Kajal Aggarwal are doing rounds in the tinsel ville. Allu Aravind and NV Prasad are jointly producing this film.
