Talented young actor Vikranth has been struggling for a success that would provide him the much needed break in Kollwyood career as a hero.

With his promising line up of upcoming project, one can be confident that that the day he will become a bankable commercial hero is not far away.

Vikranth has acted in a crucial role in director K.V.Anand's 'Kavan' which has Vijay Sethupathi and Madonna Sebastian in lead roles. The film is set to hit the screens in January 2017.

The cousin brother of Ilayathalapathy Vijay will also be playing the lead role in the sequel to director Suseenthiran's debut flick 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' which will be written by the director and directed by his associate Selvasekaran.

Now we learn that Vikranth will be acting in a film to be directed by highly acclaimed director Samuthirakani.

The actor has confirmed the news in his interview to a leading English daily.

Both Vikranth and Samuthirakani will be playing the lead role in a film that will be directed by the latter. More details about the project are expected to arrive soon,

Samuthirakani's previous directorial 'Appa' is one of the critically acclaimed super hits of the year 2016.
