Actor Vikranth was seen recently in the action packed thriller Suttu Pidikka Utharavu directed by Ramprakash Rayappa of Thamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum, and the movie which also had Mysskin and director Suseenthiran as a part of the cast, received good reviews.

The actor's next release happens to be Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2, the sequel to the 2009 flick directed by Suseenthiran, and this sequel is directed by Suseenthiran's associate Selva Sekaran and will also star Soori, Arthana Binu, Appukutty and Kishore in key roles.

Now another movie starring Vikranth has also announced its release date. Bakrid which has been said to be India's first camel film, and stars Vikranth and Vasundhara Kashyap in lead roles has been announced as August 9 release. Bakrid is directed by Jagadeesan Subu who had earlier directed Sigai.
