Vikranth, cousin of actor Vijay, made his debut with Karka Kasadara. Now the young hero will be testing the waters again with Ninaithu Ninaithu Parthen, which is set for release this week-end.

The movie holds a lot of promise. Produced by JJ Films, the film features debutante Ashitha opposite Vikranth.

Oru Thalai Ragam fame Shankar, Malayalam actor Captain Raju is making a comeback after long hibernation. Reputed surgeon Dr Cherian is said to have played a cameo role in Ninaithu Ninaithu Parthen.

Manikandan, erstwhile associate of director Selvaraghavan debuts as director and acclaimed cinematographer Madhu Ambat wields the camera. Na Muthukumar's lyrics have been set to tune of Kadhal fame, Joshua Sreedhar.

Vikranth is confident that the movie would do a lot of good for his career.
