It is unfortunate that actor Vikranth has not been able to make it big in K-town. But seems like his much awaited comeback is making its way to the big screen this year. The actor is currently working on a couple of projects currently and has vested high hopes on these two films, to give him the break he needs.

Vikranth plays the lead role in 'Piravi' directed by Sanjeev; the film is said to carry an excellent and striking screenplay, that makes for a wonderful entertainer. Apart from 'Piravi', Vikrant is also acting in a pivotal role in Vishal's 'Pandianadu'. Directed by Suseenthiran and produced by the actor himself, through Vishal Film Factory, 'Pandianadu' is said to be based in Madurai, and has a revenge sort of story line. Ever since CCL days, actors Vishal and Vikrant have shared a good rapport. It is said that when the quest for the right actor for this pivotal role began, Vishal had suggested Vikrant's name and the director was readily in acceptance, for the two deemed him just right for the role.
