Vikrant Massey's short film is tribute to Guru Dutt

Vikrant Massey, who made it big from television world and entered Bollywood with films like 'Lootera' and 'Dil Dhadakne Do' has now stepped into production. The lad is all set to pay tribute to the legendary Guru Dutt by his first production short-film titled '35mm'.
Apparently,Vikrant admires the iconic Guru Dutt a lot for his great work and contribution to Indian Cinema. Vikrant along with his friend and famous Balaji face, Nivedita Basu is producing the film from his production house named 'Home Grown Productions'. The film is their first project, and is directed by actor Director Chandan Roy Sanyal.
Said Vikrant, "I have admired Guru Dutt as an actor all my life, so when I was approached by my friend Chandan with the script I really loved it hence me and Nivedita Basu who is my partner in my production house Home grown productions decided on for a short film."
The film's lead character 'Guru' which will be played by actor Neeraj Kabi, draws inspiration from real life events of Guru Dutt's life. The drama short-film, is a story about a director who falls in love with an actress who is his muse.
