Actor Vikrant Massey recently shared insights into his career and relationship with money during an interview with Unfiltered by Samdish. He recounted a significant life lesson he learned early on about the value of money and respect.

Vikrant candidly discussed an incident from his college days when he invited his friends over to his home. However, their behavior changed upon seeing his modest living conditions. This experience led him to believe that earning money was the key to gaining respect. I earned a lot of money when working in TV. I bought my first home at 24, I was earning 35 lakh per month. It was a lot for someone from a family like mine where we struggled to make ends meet. After I bought the home, paid off debts, and gave my parents a better life, I still couldn’t sleep peacefully. I quit at that stage because good work felt more important. All my savings were exhausted and Sheetal (his wife) would lend me money to attend auditions, he shared.

Vikrant and Sheetal, his wife, got married in a civil ceremony on February 12, 2022, and welcomed their first child on February 7. After gaining fame from television shows like Balika Vadhu and Qubool Hai, Vikrant transitioned to films. His first notable film role was in the 2013 movie Lootera. His most recent film, 12th Fail, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, was a massive success.

This interview provides a glimpse into the actor's personal journey and the values he holds dear.
