Vikram is the hunky brother of Priyamani who plays Ravana in Mani Rathnam's movie. Plausibly, the heroine was expected to be tapping foot with Vijay, Suriya or Vikram after 'Paruthi Veeran'. But what made the actress accept this offer to play the sister; is one name – Mani Rathnam.
