Recently boycotting Bollywood movies is trending in the North which has affected many big films like Laal Singh Chada and Raksha Bandhan. Chiyan Vikram who is promoting his upcoming movie Cobra interacted with the Telugu media in a question on this trend and was shot towards him. But Chiyaan avoided that question and gave a funny answer.
A reporter asked him to comment on the ongoing Boycott Bollywood trend, which allegedly affected the box office performance of Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and the Akshay Kumar-led Raksha Bandhan. He avoided the sensitive question. He jokingly said that he didn't know what the term meant. "I know boy and cot but not boycott," he said.
Coming back to Cobra, it is an action-thriller that features Vikram in nearly 25 different getups. The cast includes Srinidhi Shetty, Miya George, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, and Mirnalini Ravi among others. The magnum opus has a star-studded cast that includes Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Prakash Raj, and Sobhita Dhulipala, among others. Ponniyin Selvan is set to become the first Tamil film to release in IMAX when it opens in cinemas on September 30.
