A few weeks back IndiaGlitz was one of the first to announce that Tamannah will be pairing up with Chiyaan Vikram for the first time in the film to be directed by Vijay Chander of 'Vaalu' fame.

Now the makers have officially confirmed that the 'Dharmadurai' heroine will be seen as the lady love of Vikram in this film. The film will also have Soori, RK Suresh, Radharavi and Ravi Kishan in important supporting roles.

The film's musical score will be rendered by S.S.Thaman. Sukumar will handle the cinematography. Ruben will take care of Editing. Art direction will be handled by Maya Pandi. Stunt sequences will be choreographed by Ravi Varman.

The makers have also announced that the shooting of the film presently referred to as 'Vikram 53' will commence tomorrow in Chennai. A grand set has been erected in the Binny Mills of Meenambakkam where the shooting will begin. The team plans to complete the shoot in a single schedule.

'Vikram 53' will be produced by Moving Frame banner on a grand scale.
