Director Madonne Ashwin, known for his powerful storytelling in ‘Mandela’ and ‘Maaveeran’, has impressed Vikram with a compelling script that has already garnered widespread praise.
Vikram is currently riding high on the success of ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ Part 2, which overcame initial hurdles to become a hit. While fans celebrate director Arun Kumar’s work, exciting updates about Vikram’s next project have surfaced.
The versatile actor has always embraced diverse roles, famously stating, “I don’t have a dream character; I want to play different types of roles that directors envision.” Staying true to this philosophy, he has delivered standout performances in ‘Cobra’, ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, ‘Thangalaan’, and ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’.
Following ‘Thangalaan’, Vikram sought an emotionally intense, action-packed script, leading him to collaborate with Arun Kumar for ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’. Even before wrapping up the film, he began exploring fresh scripts from rising Tamil and Telugu filmmakers.
One of the most impressive scripts came from Madonne Ashwin, which Vikram immediately greenlit. The film, rumored to be titled ‘Veerame Jayam’, will be produced by Arun Viswa of ‘Maaveeran’ fame and is set to begin shooting in Chennai by mid-May. The project is expected to be a fast-paced production.
After completing this film, Vikram is likely to reunite with Arun Kumar for a prequel to ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’, similar to how ‘Kantara’ received its own prequel. Fans can look forward to an exciting lineup from the star in the coming years!
