Actor Hareesh Peradi who impressed fans with his impeccable acting in the thriller film Vikram Vedha is roped in to play a crucial role in Kamal Haasan's Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Hareesh Peradi has earlier played a short role in Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Kaithi' featuring Karthi in the lead role. Lokesh who has already cast many top actors from the film industry has included Hareesh to add weightage to the story. Hareesh is also expected to play a crucial role in this much-awaited film.

After beginning his cinema journey with Malayalam cinema, Hareesh Peradi made his Tamil debut with 'Kidaar', and he later shot to fame with his role in 'Vikram Vedha'. Hareesh Peradi will be joining the team soon in Coimbatore, and the film marks his first union with Kamal Haasan.

The first glance of 'Vikram' was released a week ago on the occasion of Kamal Haasan's birthday, and it received a massive response. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film also features Vijay Sethupathi, Fahad Faasil, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, and several others in interesting roles. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music, and the film is produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Film International.
