'Vikram Vedha' remake will have a major change from the original

The Hindi remake of 'Vikram Vedha' is one of the most anticipated projects in production these days. The original Tamil version is quite popular and the casting of Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan has increased the hype tenfolds. For the initial filming schedule, the cast and crew will travel to Serbia where some action sequences will be shot.
A source close to the project shared, “Hrithik, Saif and the crew will head to Serbia to shoot a major chunk of the film, followed by a stint in Georgia. They intend to wrap up the action sequences in the foreign locales before they return to home turf to can the dramatic scenes."
While the original film was set mostly in and around Chennai, makers of the remake are going big by including foreign locations in the narrative. The original starred R Madhavan in role of a police officer with questionable methods of law enforcement and Vijay Sethupathi played a gangster who sticks to his principles. In the Bollywood version, Saif will play the cop while Hrithik will play the gangster.
