The cult classic gangster vs cop saga 'Vikram Vedha' released in the year 2017 won critics and audiences alike and has found its place as one of the best Tamil films of the past decade. The film directed by Pushkar Gayathri and produced by Y Not Studios Sashikanth starred Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles supported by Shraddha Srinath, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Manikandan, Vivek Prasanna, Premkumar, Harish Peradi and Kathir.
Today the Hindi remake of 'Vikram Vedha' with the same title has gone on floors and is also produced by Sashikanth and directed by Pushkar Gayathri. Hrithik Roshan is playing Vedha, Saif Ali Khan is Vikram with Radhika Apte and Rohit Saraf reprising the roles played by Shraddha Srinath and Kathir respectively.
The 'Vikram Vedha' Hindi remake will be extensively shot in the UAE where the cast and crew are camped right now. The team will return to India after a month and the remaining portions will be shot in a Mumbai slum. The release is already announced as September 22nd, 2022.
