Young actor Manikandan played noteable supporting roles in this year's critically acclaimed 'Ettu Thottakka' and the recent blockbuster 'Vikram Vedha'.

Manikandan who is also a co-writer of fantastic dialogues for the film says shares something interesting about Vijay Sethupathi.

"He is a great actor and there is nothing special in me being his fan. We acted together in 'Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum'. He became close with me very quickly. He use to call me once in a while and discuss the happenings in his shooting spot. If his film has released he will call me and ask my feedback. One day I was just walking in Vadapalani. Suddenly a car came near me and the person inside asked me to get in. Then only I noticed it is Vijay Sethupathi. He asked where I was going and dropped me in that place. Such a good man he is. "

Ask him if he has ever seen Vijay Sethupathi getting angry, Manikandan says "I have seen him getting angry. It will be so intense so he often hides that with a smile. He is a very genuine person. He is not a person who will speak fake words to get some benefit from others."

It is to be noted that Manikandan is acting with Superstar Rajinikanth in 'Kaala' directed by Pa.Ranjith.
