'Vikram Vedha' directed by Pushkar and Gayathri powered by stellar performances from Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan has achieved blockbuster status in its one month long run collecting 35 Crores. Chennai city accounts for 7.48Cr, Chengalput 12 Cr., Coimbatore 8.5 Cr. and the rest from other territories. The producers share is around 15.5 Crores which is the highest in the careers of both Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi.

Dhanush's 'VIP2' directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth in spite of mixed reviews has managed to collect around 26 Crores with Chennai bringing in 3.25 Cr., Chengalput 7 Cr., Coimbatore 4Crores and other territories including all rights bringing in around 11.5 Crores.

Thala Ajith's 'Vivegam' is storming the box office this weekend and will occupy 90 percent of the screens, bringing in an end to 'Vikram Vedha' s dream run and will also prevent 'VIP2' from breaking even.
