'Vikram Vedha' directed by Pushkar Gayathri and starring R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi became a blockbuster hit as well as received high critical acclaim. The film also won several national and international awards especially for the writing, direction and the stunning acting of the lead heroes and the supporting cast.

Pushkar Gayathri and producer Y Knot Studios joined hands for the Hindi remake of 'Vikram Vedha' starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan that released recently and also got a similar reception.

Now reliable sources are suggesting that 'Vikram Vedha 2' is on the cards and the makers are planning to hold talks with the original cast members including Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan to reprise their roles. The 2017 film had a cliffhanger ending with both the leads training their guns on each others heads with only gunshots heard and what transpired kept in suspense. Lets wait for the official confirmation which is expected in early 2023.
