As we all know actor Vikram is presently busy directing a song in tribute of volunteers who actively participated in rain relief activities in Chennai and to encourage the victims and the rain and flood to start a fresh life with renewed vigor. The song has been titled as 'Spirit of Chennai'This audio version of the song composed by Girnandh Vidyashankar has been released while Vikram is directing the video.

A host of leading celebrities from the Kollywood will feature in this song. The list includes Suriya, Prabhu Deva, Jayam Ravi, Jiiva, Bharath,. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and also the celebrities from other film industries.

Now sources close to Vikram reveal that the 'I' star is keen to rope in Ilayathalapathi Vijay and Thala Ajith to make an appearance in the song and has already started the efforts for the same. If this surprise does not end here. It is said that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan may also be featured in the song.

if this becomes true 'Spirit of Chennai' will receive an earth-shattering response from every movie buff in Kollywood as well as the general public.

Vikram's '10 Endrathukulla' director Vijay Milton is doing the cinematography for this song while Sridhar Master is taking care of dance choreography.
