Super Star Rajinikanth will be working with young director Pa Ranjith soon. Rajini will be seen as a gangster in this film and there is no heroine opposite him in this movie.

According to sources, soon after the completion of this film, Rajini will team up with Shankar once again for Robo-2 (Enthiran 2). For a few weeks there have been rumours that Shah Rukh Khan will play the villain in the Tamil version and Rajinikanth will play the villain in the Hindi version, in which Shah Rukh Khan plays the lead.

But now the name of Vikram cropped up. Sources say that Shankar is considering Vikram for the villain role now as he is very apt for the role. This movie is going to be a very high budgeted film and the details will be revealed officially soon.

Shankar and Vikram's last outing, 'I', was a failure at the box-office, though it was critically acclaimed.
