It was reported earlier that Venkatesh who is pioneering the movement of multistarrers in Telugu has okayed to play the role of the God in the remake of 'OMG - Oh My God' in Telugu and the film will be directed by Kishore Kumar Pardhasani aka Dolly who earlier directed 'Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam' and 'Tadakha'. However, it was learnt that the producers are also considering to cast Chiyan Vikram for the God's role.

While the news is not confirmed by the producers, this might give some exciting indications about the casting. It might mean that Venky would be doing Paresh Rawal's role which is equally or even more powerful than the God's role int he film. The film will be co-produced by Suresh Babu and another well known producer. The film will go on sets from the February onwards.

Paresh Rawal's 'OMG - Oh My God' has been a sleeper hit of 2012 starring himself and Akshay Kumar who played the key role of God apart from being the co-producer. The film is based on one of the most popular Gujarati stage play titled 'Kanji Virudh Kanji' and was announced to be remade into Telugu language too. There were also rumors that Pawan Kalyan was keen to do the film.
