Vikram to Play a Brainy Cop

Chiyaan Vikram has signed a film to be directed by Amid of Rajathanthiram' fame in which the consummate actor is rumored to be doing the role of a cop who uses his brain more than his brawn in a cat and mouse game with a deadly villain.

The as yet untitled film, which has music by Ghibran is produced by the team that bankrolled the Vikram starrer Karikalan' which was dropped for some unknown reasons after shooting for a few days. The heroine and other cast and crew details will be revealed soon and the film is set to begin in August.
