Vikram to Play a Brainy Cop

Chiyaan Vikram has signed a film to be directed by Amid of Rajathanthiram` fame in which the consummate actor is rumored to be doing the role of a cop who uses his brain more than his brawn in a cat and mouse game with a deadly villain.

The as yet untitled film, which has music by Ghibran is produced by the team that bankrolled the Vikram starrer Karikalan` which was dropped for some unknown reasons after shooting for a few days. The heroine and other cast and crew details will be revealed soon and the film is set to begin in August.
