Chiyaan Vikram's 'Saamy Square' directed by Hari is a much anticipated movie which is a sequel to the actor's much adored 'Saamy' in which he plays the titular role of a foul mouthed macho cop branding justice in his own distinct way.

After the completion of a formal pooja, the film's crew had completed a one day shoot in Yercaud and has begun shooting in Chennai as of now. It is touted that the sequel will have high octane action squences that will entrall the audience. 

Reportedly, Vikram had undergone serious preparations for the film which will have him perform stunts from a chopper. And the film's stunt master Kanal Kannan had specifically worked hard to dish out distinct action sequences for 'Saamy Square'.

'Saamy Square' bankrolled by Shibu Thameens though has a different and interesting sript,  will retain the original flavour of the film's first installment.  Chiyaan's stylish and suave demeanour in a still released by the makers of the film has excited fans to expect another blockbuster.

The film which is expected to hit the screens next year  has Keerthy Suresh and Trisha playing vital roles while the music for the film is being scored by Devi Sri Prasad.
