Film industry celebrities participated hugely in the rain and flood relief activities in Chennai recently. Many actors across the country donated huge sums of money to aide the Government's effort to rehabilitate the people severely affected by floods in Chennai.

Versatile actor Vikram did his part by donating a some of Rs.10 lakhs to the Chief Minister Public Relief Fund for Chennai flood relief.

But the versatile star's contribution to the flood affected Chennai does not stop with this. Sources say that Vikram will produce a song about Chennai flood relief as a tribute to individual and organisational volunteers who actively took part in the relief and rescue operations setting aside their personal and family requirements. Vikram will also be directing this song. The song will also be used to inspire others to do their part in the rehabilitation process which is till on. The National award winning actor has also acquired the necessary permission for shooting the relief activities for the song.

Top stars from Kollywood and other film industries of India are expected to feature along with Vikram in this song video.
