It’s a question whether any other actor of his stature would come forward to do this role, that too at a time when a ‘commercial’ hit is badly needed to make fans happy. But Vikram has done it.

The actor has played Krishnan, a grown up adult whose mental growth is that of a five-year-old, in his forthcoming film ‘Dheiva Thirumagan’, directed by ‘Madrasapattinam’ fame Vijay and produced by Mogan Nadarajan.

And those who got an opportunity to watch clippings from the film are awestruck by the Cheeyan’s performance. “He is simply the best. Many coveted awards are waiting for Vikram’s performance in this film,” a source tells us.

Says director Vijay, “since the actions of Vikram’s character are as pure as gold, quite like a child, we used to call him ‘Chella Kutty Krishnan’. Besides playing the lead role, he has also sung a song in Dheiva Thirumagan.”
