Versatile actor Vikram of 'Aparichitudu' fame was yesterday diagnosed with Covid-19. Latest reports say that the actor has isolated himself at his Chennai residence. He is doing fine, although mild symptoms have shown up.

The Kollywood hero is the second Tamil actor to test positive for Covid-19 in recent weeks. Earlier this month, Kamal Haasan tested positive for the virus. He was hospitalized for a few days, post which he was discharged after treatment. Earlier this week, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor tested positive for the virus. She is doing okay.

Coming to Vikram, he has completed shooting for Mani Ratnam's multi-lingual film 'Ponniyin Selvan' and Karthik Subbaraj's Tamil outing 'Mahaan' which are expected to hit the screens one after the other in 2022. His other film 'Cobra' (Tamil), which is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, has a few days of shooting left after which Vikram will begin work on his next directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Studio Green KE Gnanavelraja.
